Take Me Home
Synopsis
Take Me Home was inspired by the Directors own experiences with bullying, both in school and out. The kind of bullying that can happen to a young person anywhere. In the street, in the park, in the dance classes they love, at clubs and societies where all they want to do is enjoy themselves and feel like they belong. We chose school bullying as the backdrop for this film as it seemed the most likely environment that a victim of bullying could relate to. It was important to us that the feelings and emotions portrayed in this film were relatable.

The film centres around three main characters, sisters Jenny & Rosie, and Katie. We meet Katie as a ghost, a 14-year old driven to suicide through bullying. We find out that Rosie was one of those bullies but that maybe there is more to her reasons why than we are first led to believe. Katie has a plan in mind to seek revenge on her attackers with the help of their younger siblings and this film will ask you.. How far would you go if you were given the opportunity?
